2007 Syrah
Columbia Valley

The first of our 2007 red wine releases starts with this wonderful blend from three of our favorite Syrah vineyards. Dineen Family, a great spot North of Zillah in the Central Yakima Valley, Meek, a great young vineyard on the south facing slope in view of Red Mountain, and Stillwater Creek, a perennial favorite sourced from a rocky slope on the Frenchman Hills. This wine shows the diversity of each vineyard, while at the same time weaves them to together to form a complex, yet elegant wine.

With incredible aromas of crushed violets, blueberry jam, and chocolate, this wine has a super smooth palate, creamy mouth feel, and enough complexity to age for a decade. Try it with roast duck or leg of lamb.

"Bright, vivid flavors bore through dense tannins, coming out the other
side with a meaty edge to the dark berry and black olive notes. The
finish remains lively and picks up a mineral tone. Best from 2011
through 2017. 250 cases made."
